Welterweight Louie Lopez, fresh off his unanimous decision victory over Alan Sanchez on July 6, is hoping to land a fight against any top-10 contender in the 147-pound division.

“I came out victorious and got the job done,” said Lopez of his victory on the Nate Diaz-Jorge Masvidal undercard in Anaheim, California. “It was a great experience fighting on a big card and having my hands raised. I’m looking forward to fighting a couple of more times before the end of the year, hopefully against a top-10 contender.”

Lopez (16-2-2, 5 KOs), from Corona, California, said he believes he’s ready to step up against any opponent in the welterweight rankings.

“Seeing Louie Lopez come out victorious in his last fight was incredibly rewarding," said his promoter, Alex Camponovo. “He showcased his talent and determination, proving he’s ready for bigger challenges.”

Lopez has been making waves in the Southern California boxing scene, delivering performances that have resonated with local fans. He received a strong show of support from the community at the Honda Center.

"I was thrilled to see so many fans come out to support me,” Lopez said. “Fighting in front of a home crowd at the Honda Center was an incredible feeling, and I felt their energy from the opening bell. I’m grateful for their continued support and can’t wait to give them another great performance in my next fight."
