French heavyweight Mourad Aliev, 12-0 (9 KOs), will defend a minor belt against Italy’s Davide Brito, 6-0 (3 KOs), on December 14 at the Grand Elysee Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.

Brito most recently stopped Ali Kiydin in his debut in Germany in September.

In chief support of that fight will be junior middleweight Ermal Hadribeaj, 19-0-1 (7 KOs), facing Eddy Colmenares, 9-1-1 (9 KOs).

Cuban heavyweight Jose Larduet, 13-0 (11 KOs), will be in against Bohdan Myronets, 9-1 (5 KOs), in what will not be a fight for any WBC title.

Middleweights Serkay Comert, 8-0 (7 KOs), and Italy’s Yassin Hermi, 15-1-1 (12 KOs) will clash for a vacant minor belt.

Light heavyweight Branimir Malenica, 10-0 (9 KOs), will meet Benjamin Gavazi, 18-1 (12 KOs), in an all-German matchup.

Mexican junior bantamweight titleholder Asley Gonzalez, 16-2 (7 KOs), will be featured on the undercard in a non-title fight against Spain’s Mary Romero (10-6, 2 KOs).

The event will be, as previously reported, held in conjunction with the WBC Congress.

Former Spanish champ Domingo Barreras Corpas has passed away at the age of 81.

Corpas, who ended his career with a record of 40-10 (20 KOs), fought professionally from 1967 through 1979.

He challenged Bruno Arccart for a junior welterweight title in 1973 but was knocked out by a coin thrown into the ring from the crowd – or so it was claimed. Either way, Corpas was counted out.

Polish amateur star Mariusz Bereznicki has signed with Knockout Promotions, headed by Andrew Wasilewski, and will make his pro debut November 16.

Bereznicki represented Poland at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, fighting at 92kg.

Danish super middleweight Jakob Bank, 14-0 (7 KOs), will now fight Germany’s Ibo Maier, 13-0 (8 KOs), in the headliner of TK Promotion's event in Kolding, Denmark, on November 23.

The undercard will feature the returns of former middleweight prospect Abdul Khattab, 19-3-1 (5 KOs), and heavyweight Morten Givskov, 3-0 (3 KOs).
