A planned battle of heavyweight prospects is now in jeopardy. Artur Szpilka (12-0, 9 KOs) has accepted the fight, but Krzysztof Zimnoch (13-0-1, 10 KOs) has refused to sign the contract for their scheduled fight - taking place on the big Golota-Saleta card on February 23rd in Poland. Zimnoch does not have any problem in signing the contract for the fight, but he refuses to accept a clause that extends his promotional agreement with Andrzej Wasilewski.

"I can sign at any time, but I am being blackmailed by Andrzej Wasilewski to extend the contract with him. The last two and a half years I think I wasted and I do not intend to continue our agreement. I will fight if there is no new [promotional] contract. I'm tired of the constant phone calls, I want to focus only on training," Zimnoch commented.
