CenturyLink Center, Omaha - In a battle of identical professional records, WBO lightweight champion Terence Crawford (23-0, 16KOs) had too much firepower for Olympic gold medal winner Yuriorkis Gamboa (23-1, 16KOs), as a crowd of over 10,000 cheered Crawford on. Gamboa was dropped four time in the contest, including two big knockdowns in the ninth, which forced the referee to wave things off.

"I think it was a good fight. We were two warriors who were fighting in the ring and he won. The referee made a decision that I was [unable to go on]. We will respect the decision of the referee, but I could have continued," Gamboa said.
