American boxer Terrel Williams, the final last opponent of Prichard Colon, will return to the ring on November 18.

For Williams, it will be his first fight since October 17, 2015, when he scored a controversial victory over Colon in Fairfax, Virginia.

Williams got the win after Colon was issued a disqualification in ninth round. Colon's corner got confused with the number of remaining rounds and thought the fight was over, but the tenth round was still remaining. Because they began to take off Colon's gloves, he was disqualified by the referee.

During the contest, Colon went down several times - complaining that Williams was continuously hitting him to the back of the head. During the fight, Williams and his team were claiming that Colon was simply looking for a way out in a fight that wasn't going his way.

The referee was very lenient on Williams over the illegal punches. Multiple warnings were issued, but only one point was deducted. Many felt that Williams should have been disqualified.

After the fight, Colon complained of being dizzy from all of the rabbit punches. Once he returned to his locker room, he collapsed and was rushed to a local hospital. He suffered a severe brain inflammation that has left him in a comatose state.

Currently, the 25-year-old Colon is bound to his bed and unable to communicate.

Last May, Colon's family filed a $50 million lawsuit against Dr. Richard Ashby, Family Practice Medical Services, PC and promotional companies Headbanger's Promotions and DiBella Entertainment - claiming that Colon's current condition of Colon could have been avoided if the parties involved had complied with the standards of care.

Williams (15-0 with 12 knockouts) will face an opponent to be determined in what will be a 10-round junior middleweight bout at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The fight will be part of the undercard headlined by Julian Williams and Ishe Smith in the televised main event.
