IBF/WBO/IBO/WBA heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (58-3, 50KOs), who continues to train for a November 10th defense in Hamburg against Mariusz Wach (27-0, 15KOs), laughed at the recent attempt by David Haye to further himself in the WBO rankings.

At the WBO's recent convention in Florida, the oganization discussed whether Haye, Denis Boytsov or Seth Mitchell should be chosen for a mandatory shot at Wladimir in 2013. No final decision was made.

Haye has been making a lot of noise for a fight with older brother Vitali Klitschko, who holds the WBC championship, but Wladimir doesn't see any reason why he or Vitali should even consider Haye for a future fight.

"You know, David Haye is still being taken far too seriously. If he wouldn't have lost against me last year, so clearly, the fight might still be kind of interesting. But I beat him and left him confused. Neither I nor Vitali need David Haye. But he needs us to stay relevant in the public and he needs us to earn any decent money in the ring," Wladimir said.
