Super bantamweight contender Wilfredo Vazquez, Jr., and his promoter Felix "Tutico" Zabala of All Star Boxing, are waiting for a decision to be made on whether or not a rematch with Jorge "El Travieso" Arce will take on the Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito undercard on December 3 at New York's Madison Square Garden. In May, Arce stopped Vazquez Jr. in the twelfth round to win the WBO's super bantamweight title.

"That's what I'm looking for, the rematch. Those are our intentions. I do not know if Top Rank is waiting to determine which television network will be in charge of the event, but right now there is no plan B. [If the Arce fight falls through], then we move to another plan," said Zabala to Carlos Gonzalez. "If the rematch is not signed, we would have to consider the idea of fighting on a card in Miami."
