Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (21-1, 17KOs), who last May lost the super bantamweight belt of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to Mexico's Jorge "El Travieso" Arce, is craving to get revenge. Vazquez returns on the 29 of October at the Coliseum Mario "Quijote" Morales in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The opponent has not been determined but he wants to face Arce in early 2012. There has been some discussion about a possible rematch in February.

"[After I lost] I stayed with my dad and we talked about what I did wrong the night of the fight. I just wanted to hear his comments. Now my motivation is evne higher. I went against a great champion. I'm doing my job and I'm still perfecting my skill. The defeat did not make me lose any sleep," Vazuqez told Carlos Gonzalez. "I am buying my time and waiting for payback against Arce and things will be different. Coming later this year or, if it is early next year, too."
