A proposed fight between Youtube legend Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson (7-0, 6KOs) and top heavyweight contender Alexander Ustinov (29-1, 21KOs) is likely dead in the water. The two sides are too far apart on money.

Russian promoter Vladimir "красивый" Hryunov was attempting to secure Kimbo for a show taking place on December 11th at the Dynamo Palace of Sports in Moscow, Russia.

Gary Shaw, who promotes Ustinov, felt Hryunov's offer was extremely low.

"What he offered we get for fighting an hour away from Kimbo's house. What he offered we wouldn't even go to the airport to look at the place. If he adds some zeros to the offer, then we would have something to discuss. It was a very interesting proposition but Kimbo fights for that kind of money only one hour away from his home. If Vlad keeps adding zeros we can discuss something," Shaw told BoxingScene.com on Monday.

Hryunov reached out to BoxingScene.com on Tuesday, and said Kimbo, via Shaw, made a counter-demand that went through the roof.

According to Hryunov, Kimbo wanted no less than $250,000 dollars and he wanted no more than a four round contest. Hryunov's offer was more in the ballpark of $25,000. The Russian promoter would be willing to negotiate, but he has no intention of coming anywhere near the number that Kimbo requires to accept the fight.

"This guy is crazy. He wants $250,000 for four rounds. He won't fight no more than four rounds. What is Ustinov a child? This is a world ranked fighter. He doesn't do four rounds fights. Why would I pay that kind of money to a guy who will last one round? Maybe they mistook me for someone else, because I don't give handouts. If they found someone who would pay him that and they like it, then great, but I don't like that and that's something I won't do," Hryunov told BoxingScene.com.
