Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (20-0, 14KOs) shocked a lot of people when he promised to retire from boxing - not in defeat, but he promised to walk away if he fails to demolish Steve Cunningham (25-5, 12KOs) as promised in the pre-fight buildup. Fury faces Cunningham on Saturday at The Theater in Madison Square Garden. Fury has talked a very good game and he promises to retire from the sport if he fails to back up his big words on Saturday night.

"If this man gives me a good fight, I swear on Jesus' name that I will retire after the fight. Because I ain't gonna be nothing that I say I'm gonna be if I can't do a job on this man. I will retire if I don't smash him. If I don't impress, I will retire....game over. Just because a fight goes twelve rounds doesn't mean that it's a sh*t fight. As long as I'm happy with the fight, but if I'm not happy with the fight - I will retire on live TV. I should be smashing people like him into next week," Fury shouted.
