On Saturday night, Tony Bellew (20-2-1, 12KOs) was knocked out in his bid to take the WBC light heavyweight title from Adonis Stevenson in Quebec City. Stevenson won via a sixth-round stoppage as he battered Bellew with hard punches. A huge left-hand knocked Bellew to his feet, and the fight was stopped when the Liverpudlian was boxed into a corner moments later. Now Bellew feels a move up in weight, by 25-pounds, might be the best move for him.

Bellew told Sky Sports. "Maybe it's time for me to jump up in weight now. Someone else has recently jumped up in weight and it might be time for me to do it. Might it have been one too many (fights at light-heavyweight) for me? I was feeling them tonight and it's not like me to feel shots. Tonight I did."

"I'm at the pinnacle of the sport. I've gone in with the premier fighter in the division and good luck to him, he came out on top tonight, it wasn't my night."
