Roseland Ballroom, New York City - Thomas Oosthuizen (20-0, 13KOs) retained his IBO super middleweight title with a lopsided twelve round unanimous decision over Rowland Bryant (16-2, 11KOs). Oosthuizen dominated the action with his superior boxing ability, and Bryant had no answers to change the tide. The scores were 118-110, 117-111, 117-111.

Bryant landed a few good right hands, including three big ones in the tenth round, but there wasn't much more than that to his game plan. Oosthuizen worked the jab, punished the body and outworked his opponent.

Bryant was coming off an unexpected third round stoppage of Librado Andrade in April. Oosthuizen is a potential opponent for IBF champion Carl Froch in November.
