Terence Crawford (25-0, 17KOs) didn't ignite the crowd like he did in his Fight of the Year candidate against Yuriorkis Gamboa, but he did get the win against Ray Beltran.

Crawford painted Beltran with precision counter shots, and did damage to his left eye. He didn't drop Beltran in the bout, did seem to hurt him at times, and in the 12 round started to step on the gas. However, he let up, and explained his final round gameplan to Max Kellerman.

In the fight with Gamboa, Crawford got careless and was rocked in the ninth round, but then it was Gamboa who got careless and dropped twice for Crawford knockout win.

"I felt like he was slowing down, but i didn't want to get careless like I did against Gamboa, I got caught with a stupid shot," Crawford said. "I just stuck with what was working. I saw his eyes swollen but I just stuck to the game plan."
