Tony Tineo, the attorney for Elio Rojas (23-1, 14KOs), doesn't have problem with the sanctioned officials for his boxer's bout with WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez (51-7, 45KOs), taking place on the 28th of April at the Grand Oasis Resort in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The judges are Hubert Minn, Hawaii (USA), Guido Cavalleri of Italy, and Thomas Nardone of Florida (United States). The supervisor of the bout will be the African Peter Ngatare, while Jon Schorle of Texas (USA) will be the referee. Schorle had some controversy with last month's fight involving junior middleweight James Kirkland and Carlos Molina. Schorle disqualified Molina, who was well ahead on the scorecards, when a cornerman entered the ring for a few seconds at the end of the tenth round.

"The officials are very professional, neutral, coming from Africa, Europe and America," Tineo said. "Both the WBC and Mr. Sulaiman gave me assurances that the fight would be handled transparently, and those are the signals that they have been sending."
