How decisive was Dmitry Chudinov’s Saturday TKO loss to Chris Eubank Jr. (19-1, 14 KOs) in London, UK? Not that decisive, thinks Team Chudinov.

“Dmitry was supported with a round of applause even despite the defeat”, told Vladimir Hryunov, his promoter, to R-Sport. “We have discussed the rematch option and it was agreed upon with Frank Warren. Most definitely that won’t be an immediate rematch but rather a fight in the fall. Dmitry had a very tough fight, and right now he should take his time and have some rest. We have lots to study and to execute in the gym."

“(Chudinov) was fighting strangely. (He) was fighting bad. He didn’t look like himself in the ring”, wrote Andrey Ryabinskiy in his Twitter account.

WBA interim middleweight champion Chudinov (14-1-2, 9 KOs) suffered his first career defeat last Saturday, being stopped on his feet in the twelfth and final round with just 50 seconds remaining.
