World class trainer Kevin Cunningham provided BoxingScene.com with an update on his fighter Devon Alexander's recovery from a bicep injury that he suffered in February which caused his fight against Kell Brook to be postponed for a second time.  He said that the IBF welterweight champion has returned to the gym.

"Devon's bicep has healed and he's gradually getting back into his groove in the gym," Cunningham stated.

The Alexander-Brook bout has been rescheduled for May 18th in Atlantic City with Showtime set to air the fight. Over the past few weeks BoxingScene has published articles with Brook and Amir Khan taking shots at each other as they attempt to set up a future clash that would do huge numbers in their native country, the United Kingdom.

Cunningham feels that Brook should worry the task at hand and fired his own shot at Brook saying that he can still fight fight Khan but that IBF welterweight title won't be at stake.

"Obviously Brook is looking past Devon and focusing on a future fight with Khan. If Khan/Brook happens it will be a non-title fight. Come May 18th, Brook's going to get schooled," Cunningham told BoxingScene.com.

"I hear he's doing a lot of weight lifting but somebody needs to tell him that this is boxing, not a bodybuilding contest. Floyd Mayweather is pound-for-pound the best fighter in the world and that's because he's the most skilled fighter in the game. On May 18th Kell will get drilled by Devon's skills."
