Paramount Theatre, Huntington, New York - Emanuel Taylor (18-2, 12KOs) bounced back from a decision loss to Chris Algieri and won a ten round unanimous decision over Karim Mayfield (18-2, 11KOs), who loses his second consecutive fight. The scores were 97-92, 95-94, 95-94.

Taylor was more active, more accurate and outboxed Mayfield, who was unable to adapt. During the eight round, Mayfield had his best point of success with a quick right hand that dropped Taylor. Mayfield jumped on him with punches to the head and body, but couldn't put him away. Taylor recovered quickly and went right back to outboxing Mayfield for the remainder of the fight.

A step up in class for welterweight prospect Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin (13-0, 10KOs) ended with a no-contest against Bayan Jargal (17-5-3, 10KOs). The fight was stopped after three rounds due to a cut over the right eye of Jargal, which happened from an accidental clash of heads.

Junior welterweight contender Anthony Karperis (7-2, 3KOs) won a four round unanimous decision over Ariel Duran (7-6-1, 4KOs). All three judges had it 39-37.

In a battle of undefeated junior middleweight prospects, Wendy Toussaint (5-0) won a six round unanimous decision over Courtney Pennington (7-1-1, 4KOs). All three judges had it 58-56.
