After the recent comments from legendary trainer Emanuel Steward regarding a possible United States clash between his fighter Wladimir Klitschko, and IBO cruiserweight champion Antonio Tarver, who admits the unified heavyweight champion is in his future plans.

The 42-year-old boxer, who destroyed seasoned champion Danny Green in his last fight, told WBN that he will fight once more at the cruiserweight limit before bulking himself up for an assault on the Klitschko brothers’ dominance in the heavyweight division.

“Well Manny knows boxing and he understands what a fight between Wlad and I could mean,” Tarver told World Boxing News. “But I don't even believe he could see the outcome of that fight. He believes I'll test him, but no way [does] he believe I would beat him. That in itself might get him fired!"

“I plan on fighting late December and although no opponent has been confirmed, it might be a title defence at cruiserweight and then I'll stay in shape [and] work my way to a solid 215-pounds. Then I will make my plan the take over the world.”

The American also ruled out a return with Green if he comes through his WBC title shot against Poland’s Krzysztof Wlodarczyk in Australia next month and will concentrate on building on his one heavyweight contest in 2012.

“I don't think Green would ever make the same mistake twice so if he wins, hell no,” said Tarver on a rematch with ‘The Green Machine.’ “After my fight in December, my goal is to become the heavyweight champion of the world.”
