Felix Sturm has announced that he has set a provisional date of Saturday the 26 of November aside for a rematch with Matthew Macklin, who was widely adjudge to have earned the nod over the WBA middleweight boss during their FOTY candiate on June 25.

Macklin represents Ireland, Birmingham and his training base of Manchester, he traveled to the Lanxess Arena, where the return will also take place, and worked his socks off en route to a split decision loss.  Felix, 36-2-1 (15), promised 'Mack The Knife' a rematch and has proven as good as his word.

Although Felix stated that he has also set the 25th of November aside, the 32-year-old is more likely to secure the Saturday night for maximum return.  "Let's clear this thing.  I'm ready and I'm sure we'll see an even bigger fight in November," declared the WBA boss when announcing the possible dates.

Macklin moved to 23-3 (19) after the loss, his name was recently on the lips of Sergio Martinez and Lou DiBella; the popular pressure fighter looks to have received a huge profile boost in the wake of his narrow loss.
