In a strange move, the WBO has ordered a purse bid for a mandatory fight between super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (41-2, 23KOs) and British challenger George Groves (14-0, 11KOs).

The move is strange because both boxers have very tough fights coming up. Stieglitz defends his title against for two-time champion Mikkel Kessler on April 14th, and Groves has a rematch with Kenny Anderson on March 16th.

The purse bid has been scheduled for March 12th at La Pampa Restaurant in Hungary.
