It's clear that the brass at Spike TV are pleased with the returns from its inaugural offering of Premier Boxing Champions series. So much that an encore performance is in store.

The March 13 edition was topped by Andre Berto's come-from-behind—if not controversial—6th round stoppage of Josesito Lopez at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. The show was a smash hit with the home audience and the network, as the latest ratings reveal the main event to have averarged 1 million home viewers, peaking at 1.2 million, both of which are massive numbers for a Spike TV broadcast in that time slot.

Spike TV announced on Wednesday afternoon that an exclusive rebroadcast of the entire card will air Friday, March 20 at 9:00pm ET/PT.

The televised co-feature saw Shawn Porter score a one-sided 5th round stoppage of previously unbeaten Erick Bone, a very late replacement for Roberto Garcia, who was medically scratched from the card.

With plenty of time to kill, viewers were treated to a primitive heavyweight slugfest in the televised swing bout. Chris Arreola—grossly out of shape, even by his (lack of) standards—nearly scored a 1st round knockout of Curtis Harper, but was instead forced to go the eight-round distance in a wild brawl.

The show came on the heels of the PBC series making its official debut six days prior with its March 7 offering on NBC in prime time.

Spike TV will return to the boxing business in live form on Friday, April 24. Headlining the show—which takes place at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago—unbeaten Anthony Dirrell takes on Badou Jack in a 12-round super middleweight affair. The co-main event pits cancer survivor Daniel Jacobs versus middleweight trialhorse Caleb Truax, also scheduled for 12 rounds.
