SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines - Pungluang Sor Singyu (42-1-0, 27 KOs) stopped AJ Banak (28-2-1, 20KOs) in the ninth round to capture the vacant WBO bantamweight title.

Banal was ahead on the scorecards at the time of the stoppage, but Sor Singyu continued to push and throw hard punches. A hard combinatiomn in the ninth sent Banal crashing. He made it to his feet, but referee Tony Weeks deemed that Banal was unable to continue and stopped the fight. During the action a clash of heads in the third created a cut above Banal's right eye, and the Filipino boxer lost a point for repeated low blows in the sixth.

In the co-feature, Rey “Boom-Boom” Bautista (34-2-0, 25 KOs) escaped defeat with a close split decision victory over Daniel Ruiz (27-6-1, 19 KOs), winning the WBO international featherweight title. Judges Salven Lagumbay and Samson Libres scored the fight 116-112 and 115-113 for Bautista, and Epi Almeda scored it 115-113 for Ruiz.
