Juan Francisco "Gallo" Estrada is not taking any chances in his upcoming rematch against Srisaket Sor Rungvisai.

Last year, Sor Rungvisai won a very close twelve round decision over Estrada to retain the World Boxing Council (WBC) super flyweight championship.

The rematch takes place this coming Friday, at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Sor Rungvisai is a close favorite to win the rematch over Estrada (38-3 and 26 knockouts).

To avoid the possibility of a close decision loss, Estrada is pushing to go for the knockout.

"We will not leave doubts. We come prepared, I feel much better than for the first fight and I have no doubt that we will go for the knockout," said Estrada to ESPN Deportes.

"We already know each other, we know what we are bringing and I am sure it will be a great fight. This championship goes to Sonora and Mexico. It's a dream to be a WBC champion and no one will stop me. "

Estrada's words did not unsettle Rungvisai, who is 47-4-1 and 41 knockouts and said he was ready to exchange punches.

"I hope that (Estrada) really does what he says. I hope he comes and he's more active, to throw more punches, because, if that happens, it will be a great fight," the Thai told Hoy Deportes.

The coach of Estrada, Alfredo Caballero, stressed that, unlike the first encounter, this time, the Mexican arrives in optimal conditions and with an intense camp of two months, so he did not doubt that Estrada will add a convincing victory in the ring of the legendary Forum.

The fight between Sor Rungvisai and Estrada for the WBC 115-pound belt will be broadcast live on ESPN in Latin America through the ESPN KnockOut. The main event and the entire undercard will be carried by the DAZN streaming service.
