Former three-time world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-8-1, 39 KO's) says the upcoming fight with Pablo Cesar Cano is a do or die fight for his career. Mosley is trying to give his career a return boost, as he faces Cano at the Grand Oasis Arena in Cancun," Mexico. Mosley arrived to Mexico with father and trainer Jack Mosley, his son Shane Mosley Jr. and his coach Michael Kidd. Promoter Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing is staging the event.

"I am delighted to be back in this beautiful city, and I was eager to return, as this place is a paradise. The last time I was here (in April) the place fascinated me, it is certainly a pleasure to fight in Cancun (before fans who are) very knowledgeable boxing. I like being in Mexico, people are very hospitable and always welcomed me with open arms. I've prepared very well for this, I'm in excellent condition both physically and mentally. I am eager to put on a good show and I'm sure the people who attend the event will be satisfied with the fight that I will offer," Mosley said.

"This fight is very important for me, because I want to return to the boxing limelight  and on this occasion I have the support of my father (Jack), who also trains me and my son is with me (Shane). We are a close-knit team and we only have one thing in mind - to come out of Cancun with a win. Now that we're about to close our preparation, my father has told me to be calm and relaxed. In this fight we are not going to look for the knockout, I'll win this fight round by round and work my strategy."
