Multiple sources have advised BoxingScene.com that a light heavyweight bout between undefeated Sean Monaghan (25-0, 16 KO's) and battle tested Donovan George (25-4-2 ,22 KO's) will take place at the Aviator in Brooklyn on October 16th and it will be televised by TruTV.

This figures to be a fan-friendly scrap between two fighters who aren't hard to find. This card will take place a night before the HBO pay-per-view promotion at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, which features the middleweight unification bout between Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux.

George has been out of the ring since last August, when he won a twelve round decision over Dyah Davis to capture the vacant IBO title at 168-pounds. The fight was later changed to a no-contest after George failed a drug test.

For Monaghan, this will be his third fight of the year. He won a ten round unanimous decision over  Cleiton Conceicao in May at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, and then he made a quick return in June to score a ninth round stoppage over Fulgencio Zuniga on the Walters-Marriaga undercard at MSG.
