Scott Quigg has made his way back to the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California, where he once again is working with noted trainer, Freddie Roach. On November 4th in Monaco he is scheduled to face Oleg Yefimovych. After that, Quigg, hopes to go big game hunting in the featherweight division.

"I'm expecting a tough fight from Oleg, he's 29-2-1 (16 KO's). I know I've got a tough fight in front of me but it's one I'm very confident in with the work I'm putting in and how I'm looking in the gym," said Quigg (33-1-2, 24 KO's) to BoxingScene.com after he wrapped up his day's training.

"It's going to be an eliminator for the WBA, we're hoping. I know Oleg's highly ranked in the WBA so it's going to shoot me right up there."

Yefimovych is ranked fifth by the WBA, who have a 'super' champion in Leo Santa Cruz, while their 'regular' champion is Abner Mares.

"The fights I want are Abner Mares, Santa Cruz, they're both fighting in separate bouts this Saturday. I'm going to head down and watch them at StubHub Center," said Quigg, of the card that is being broadcast in the States on FOX.

The plan is to eventually have Mares and Santa Cruz engage in their rematch in 2018.

"I believe they're going to be fighting early March or some time in April, I'd love the winner of that. I want to be involved in big fights, like the big fight with (Carl) Frampton," stated Quigg, who dropped a split decision to his arch rival in February of 2016 but has since notched two victories since his only career loss.

''I came up short but I believe I've made massive improvements already, learned from that. Those are the fights I want to be involved in. Anybody who's got a world title at 126, they are the fights I want to be involved in."
