Light heavyweight Samuel “Squirm” Arnold III will face Mohamed Zawadi on Oct. 26 in London, Ontario.

Arnold (10-0, 6 KOs), a Dallas resident, and Zawadi (9-1, 8 KOs), from Toronto, will highlight a Three Lions Promotions card at the RBC Centre in a bout for a vacant youth title.

Arnold, 21, has put away all his opposition since turning pro at age 17. Zawadi has won seven straight – including six stoppages – since dropping a decision to Adrian Duenas Cota in 2021, in Zawadi’s third pro fight.

The Oct. 26 matchup represents the first eight-rounder of both Arnold’s and Zawadi’s career.

“This is an amazing fight, and Arnold is our newest signee and a force to be reckoned with,” Three Lions Promotions’ Daniel Otter said in a statement. “He has everything needed to become a world champion. Zawadi is the perfect test for Arnold.”

The undercard will see another Three Lions fighter make his first fight under its promotional banner, with Eric Basran (6-0, 2 KOs), of Surrey, Canada, taking on Luis Prieto (5-2, 4 KOs), of Chiclayo, Peru, in a lightweight eight-rounder. In separate bouts, Marc Pagcaliwangan (10-1-1, 8 KOs), Dylan Taylor (2-0, 1 KO) and Maxime Turcotte-Novosedlik (1-1) will all face opponents to be determined.

The card will also feature two pro debutants in Canada’s Faisal Rehman and Jamie Ingram, who will battle it out for four rounds in a middleweight matchup.
