Sampson Boxing, Paco Presents and Tello Box announced the addition of two new Argentinean champions to their co-promotional stable – women’s junior featherweight Nazarena Romero and lightweight Neri Munoz.

Nazarena Romero secured the WBA women’s junior featherweight title, while Neri Munoz won a lightweight bout on Saturday night in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Romero (14-0-2, 8 KOs) triumphed in the main event at the "WBA KO Drugs" festival stopping Mexico’s Paulette Valenzuela (17-4, 4 KOs) in the 10th round with a dominant display of combination punching. Referee Roberto Ramirez Jr. halted the bout just 30 seconds into the final round, marking Romero as Argentina's 36th boxing world titleholder.

In the co-featured bout, Munoz (16-2, 12 KOs) stopped previously unbeaten Chann Thonson (16-1, 13 KOs) with a strategic approach, delivering precise punches to both the body and head. Munoz scored three knockdowns, including two in the ninth round and another in the tenth, securing a TKO victory and setting up a potential world-title elimination bout.

“We are extremely pleased with the outcomes from our latest show," said Sampson Lewkowicz. "Adding two more champions to our promotional rosters is a testament to the hard work of our team at Sampson Boxing, Paco Presents, and Tello Box. We extend our gratitude to DAZN for their trust in broadcasting their first event from Argentina, and we believe this event was a fitting addition to the WBA’s esteemed annual KO Drugs festival. Thank you to our partners and everyone involved in making this event a sensational success.”
