A pair of vacant titles are at stake in the two leading bouts on Saturday's show in Tijuana, Mexico. In the main event, Orlando Salido seeks to claim a title in the super featherweight division following a lengthy run among the world's best featherweights. The former three-time titlist faces Terdsak Kokietgym in the evening's 12-round main event.

Both fighters came in at the divisional limit of 130 lb.

In the evening's co-feature, Ramon Garcia aims for his second tour as a junior flyweight titlist as he faces Javier Mendoza. Both fighters tipped the scales right at 108 lb. in their vacant title matchup.

Salido (41-12-2, 28KOs) made the choice to campaign at super featherweight after his body could no longer squeeze into a featherweight frame. The 33-year old ring veteran - who turned pro at age 15 - was forced to concede his title at the scales prior to his eventual split decision win over famed two-time Olympic Gold medalist Vasyl Lomachenko this past March.

Lomachenko went on to win the vacant title with a 12-round whitewash of Gary Russell Jr. this past June.

Meanwhile, Salido is anxious for a fourth title reign as he enters the new weight class. Amidst his storied career are a pair of knockout wins over Juan Manuel Lopez, the first coming when the Puerto Rican was still unbeaten and among the best featherweights in the world.

Garcia (20-4-1, 12KOs) enjoyed a brief stay as junior flyweight titlist with win over Jesus Gelez in their April '11 rematch. However, he lost the belt in his first defense, dropping a decision to Donnie Nietes on the road in Philippines, part of a stretch where he lost three bouts within four ring appearances.

His twin brother Raul previously served as a strawweight titlist.

Both bouts will air live on TV Azteca in Mexico and on beIN Sports Español in the United States.
