Every day fans are looking for a finalized agreement for the second fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and Orlando Salido, but so far their camps have not succeeded.

And the reason there is no agreement is because the offer presented was not what Salido had execpted.

Salido defeated Aristides Perez on May 27, which was the last obstacle he had to eliminate in order to to sit at the table to negotiate the terms for a rematch with Lomachenko, hoping that this time the offer would be much better than he received when they spoke earlier this year when Top Rank opted to match Lomachenko with Jason Sosa.

Salido and Lomachenko faced off in March 2014, in a fight for the World Boxing Organization's featherweight championship in what was Lomachenko's second professional fight.

On that occasion, Orlando could not make the 126 pound limit - and despite winning by split decision, his inability to make weight left him unable to secure the title that was vacated by Mikey Garcia.

"Top Rank made an offer, and Orlando feels it is not correct and that is why his promoter Fernando Beltrán has been working very hard to get the purse that Salido intends to get for giving the rematch to Lomachenko," said Salido's manager Sean Gibbons to ESPN Deportes.

After that fight, Lomachenko won the championship in his next professional fight by defeating Gary Russell Jr. for the vacant belt, while Salido made a division change by going to super featherweight to face Roman 'Rocky' Martinez and Francisco 'Bandido' Vargas, going to a twelve round draw on two occasions.

Lomachenko could return in early August, according to what was stated by Bob Arum of Top Rank, and during that same time period WBO super bantamweight champion Jessie Magdaleno would be back to make his second world title defense.
