The undercard continues to take shape for the April 11 event in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The headlining attraction features Orlando Salido in a junior lightweight title defense versus former beltholder Rocky Martinez.

Added to the supporting cast. flyweight contender McWilliams Arroyo will face former junior flyweight titlist Ramon Garcia in a scheduled 10-round regional flyweight title fight.

"We were in talks to fight McWilliams on the card and got this good bout against Ramon Garcia Hirales, a former world champion who comes looking for his place at 112 pounds. Plus, we have another classic confrontation between a Mexican and a Puerto Rican, which is always exciting," said Peter Rivera, vice president of Puerto Rico Best Boxing Promotions.

The bout is the second significant undercard attraction added to the show in recent weeks. As reported earlier on BoxingScene.com, Jose Gonzalez and Sharif Bogere will appear in the evening's chief support.

Arroyo (15-2, 13 KOs) returns to the ring for the first time following a narrow points loss to unbeaten Amnat Ruenroeng in their flyweight title fight on the road in Thailand last September. The bout was a nip-and-tuck affair every step of the way, with Arroyo flooring the defending titlist midway through, but unable to impress the judges to come home with the title.

Prior to turning pro, Arroyo served alongside twin brother and current unbeaten junior bantamweight contender McJoe Arroyo on the 2008 Puerto Rico Olympic boxing team that competed in Beijing, China.

Garcia (20-5-1, 12 KOs) moves up in weight for this contest, also having not fought since last September. His last ring appearance ended in a failed bid to become a two-time 108 lb. titlist, falling well short versus Javier Mendoza in their vacant title fight.

Like his opponent, Garcia is also one-half of a twin brother act in the pro ranks. Raul Garcia is a former strawweight titlist.

Salido (42-12-2, 29KOs) makes the first defense his of 130 lb. belt in the evening's main event. The manner in which he won the strap was well represented in 2014 year-end awards, overcoming three knockdowns to score four of his own in registering an 11th round knockout of Thailand's Terdsak Kokietgym last September. The bout was universally hailed as one of the best of the year, resulting in Salido becoming a three-time tilist in two weight classes.

The belt at stake and currently in Salido's possession has twice previously belonged to Martinez (28-2-2, 17KOs). His first reign began in March '09, claiming the belt on the road in England. It also ended in the United Kingdom, dropping a 12-round decision to Ricky Burns in their Sept. '10 clash in Scotland.

Martinez resurfaced to reclaim the vacant title, barely edging Miguel Beltran Jr. in Sept. '12. Two defenses followed, both featuring debatable decisions—a 12-round draw versus Juan Carlos Burgos and a split decision nod over Diego Magdaleno—before suffering an 8th round knockout at the hands of Mikey Garcia in their Nov. '13 clash.

The loss was met with a 13-month hiatus before scoring a 2nd round stoppage over Herbert Quartey in a rust-shaking tune-up last December in Puerto Rico.

The show will air live on Pay-Per-View via an independent distributor.
