Welterweight contender Hector Saldivia (41-2, 32 KOs), and his promoter Sampson Lewkowicz, were apparently annoyed with the recently circulated statements from Kell Brook (28-0, 18 KOs). On October 20th, Saldivia will travel over to Sheffield to face Brook in an IBF final eliminator at the Motorpoint Arena.

BoxingScene.com was advised that Saldivia was not impressed with Brook's recent majority decision victory over Carson Jones in July. Saldivia vowed to pick up where Jones left off. After dominating the action in the first half of the fight, Brook fell apart in the second half and the victory nearly slipped away.

The Argentine boxer, and his promoter, took offense with Brook's recent interview where he discussed a potential fight with British rival Amir Khan.

"Brook will never get the opportunity to fight Amir Khan. Why is even talking about Khan? Did he forget about our fight in October? I'm going to teach him respect - because I'm coming to Sheffield with a simple strategy - to beat the sh*t out of him. Once I get him in the ring, I will beat the sh*t out of him," Saldivia said.
