Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. suffered a very deadly fourth round knockout defeat at the hands for former WBO cruiserweight beltholder Enzo Maccarinelli of the UK.

Jones, 46-years-old, was dropped with a big uppercut in the fourth. He was never able to get himself together as the British fighter unleashed several more big punches to send Jones crashing face first to the mat.

The veteran fighter was medically evaluated after the contest. He no-showed the post fight press conference, which caused conference among the local press.

Promoter Vladimir Hryunov, who staged the big event in Moscow, said Jones was medically cleared and no issues were found.

"After the fight, Roy Jones underwent a medical examination and there is no threat to his health. Right now he's resting. There are a lot of calls and words of support from different people," Hryunov said.

Jones has yet to make a decision regarding his future in the ring.

""we have not spoken about that," Hryunov said.

Jones has 62 with 45 knockouts and 9 defeats. Maccarinelli, 35, has 41 wins with 33 knockouts and 7 defeats.
