NEW YORK -- In the main event, Will "Power" Rosinsky won a disputed unanimous decision over Otis Griffin to win the New York State light heavyweight title, edging "The Next Great Champ" by scores of 97-93 and 96-94 twice.

Rosinsky (17-2, 9 KOs) scored with body shots and pressure, but Griffin (24-11-2, 10 KOs) prospered when he timed him along the ropes.

It was the Queens, N.Y. native's first fight since losing to Kelly Pavlik on HBO in July. Griffin, whose career faltered after winning the boxing reality show run by Oscar De La Hoya, gave a good account of himself in the loss.

Brooklyn native Gabriel Bracero (20-1, 4 KOs) scored a rare stoppage when referee Eddie Cotton stopped his contest with Johnnie Edwards (15-6-1, 8 KOs) in the fourth. Bracero dropped him in the first and in the fourth.

Lou DiBella prospect Ivan Redkach improved to 13-0 with 11 KOs with an eight round unanimous decision win over veteran spoiler Edward Valdez (11-9-2, 8 KOs). Scores were 78-74 twice and 79-73.

Redkach, a 2008 Olympian from Ukraine, used his reach and volume punching to win the bout, but struggled at times. He figures to be on television in 2012 and DiBella has big plans for the lightweight now living in Los Angeles.

Ionut Ion "Jo Jo" Dan (30-2, 17 KOs) stopped Franklin Gonzalez (15-12, 11 KOs) at :11 of the fifth round. The Canadian junior middleweight was fighting for the fight time under DiBella.

Undefeated welterweight Maurice Hooker (7-0-1, 5 KOs) won a unanimous decision over Cameron Kreale (2-4-2, 0 KOs) in the opener.

Daniel Calzada (5-6-2, 1 KO) scored an upset over Allen Benitez (7-2, 1 KO), prevailing by scores of 60-54, 59-55 and 60-54 in the junior welterweight contest.

Jarrell Miller (4-0, 4 KOs) of Brooklyn, N.Y. stopped Tyron Gibson of Hibbing, Colo. at 1:25 of round two of their heavyweight fight.

Mikkel LesPierre and Cornelius Whitlock battled to a unanimous draw in their welterweight contest. Whitlock (0--0-1, 0 KOs) dropped LesPierre (1-0-1, 1 KO) twice in the third but lost the other three rounds, leading to scores of 37-37 three times.

Lou DiBella light heavyweight prospect Travis Peterkin improved to 6-0 with 3 KOs with a four round decision over Edward Tigs (1-5-2, 0 KOs).
