Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (32-0, 27KOs) is still relishing his recent victory over former world champion Ramon "Prince" Garcia of Mexico. Gonzalez retained his WBA junior flyweight title last Saturday in California with a four round stoppage of Garcia.

"Chocolatito" is planning to stay at 108-pounds, for the moment, and there are ongoing discussions to face an undefeated Japanese challenger in his next fight, with a good purse being provided.

"We are negotiating the fight, and making sure that things are better in my career," he said. "For now rule I'm going to rule out a move to 112-pounds. I want to be the super world champion of the WBA with five defenses of the crown. Chances are that we may fight in June or July in Japan, that's what I want," Gonzalez said.

International promoter Akihiko Honda would promote the event. The opponent being discussed is local prospect Ryo Miyazaki, unbeaten in 16 fights, with three draws and 10 knockouts.
