World Boxing Council (WBC) Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez of Nicaragua is very familiar with his mandatory challenger, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai of Thailand.

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Gonzalez will make a mandatory defense against Sor Rungvisai, as ordered by WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.

The fight will take place on March 18th at Madison Square Garden in New York, as the HBO Pay-Per-View co-feature to Gennady Golovkin's defense of the WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO middleweight titles against mandatory challenger Daniel Jacobs.

Gonzalez is already putting in some very tough training sessions, as he anticipates a tough fight when the two of them step in the ring.

"I've seen almost all of his fights, he's very strong, throws a lot of punches too. He's a complicated southpaw. This is what we have in front of us and that tells us to train harder," Gonzalez said.

"We know that we have a difficult fight, but with the conditioning that we'll have throughout this camp - we will have a good result on the day of the fight."

Gonzalez become the first Nicaraguan to capture world titles in four weight divisions after winning a close twelve round decision over Carlos Cuadras last September in Los Angeles.

Sor Rungvisai has a record of 41-4-1, with 38 knockouts. He won the WBC super flyweight title in May 2013, but lost it in just his second defense against the Cuadras. Between those two fights, he won stayed busy by winning seven non-title fights and then won 14 fights since the loss to Cuadras in May of 2014.

Chocolatito, who has a record of 46-0, with 38 knockouts, has captured world titles at minimumweight, junior flyweight, flyweight and super flyweight belt. Regarded as the best pound for pound fighter in the world by a lot of experts,
