Former WBC super-middleweight champion Robin Reid has been drafted in to boost the Commonwealth super-bantamweight title bill featuring belt holder Carl Frampton on January 28th.

The bill takes place at the York Hall in Bethnal Green as the 40 year-old from Runcorn attempts to score back to back victories for the first time since 2005 against Southern Area champion Daniel Cadman.

Reid has lost one of his three comeback bouts since returning in February following a four-year absence and targeted the English and British titles as his immediate goals for 2012.

Top of the bill Frampton, 24, defends his title for the first time since winning it in September by stopping Mark Quon in four rounds and takes on Kris Hughes, who has just one loss in sixteen pro outings.
