Steve Bunce of BoxNation, Sky channel 456, has confirmed that Robert Stieglitz versus George Groves has been added to the channel's schedule.  Stieglitz defends his WBO super middleweight title against the Londoner at Germany's Messehalle venue and Groves will be joined by fellow British boxer Frankie Gavin, who has been confirmed for the undercard.

Stieglitz-Groves will be followed by live coverage of Floyd Mayweather's WBA light-middleweight title showdown with current titlist Miguel Cotto.  The WBC have kindly placed their WBC 'Diamond' title on the line also in order to keep their WBC 'regular' title company as Saul Alvarez defends the 'regular' belt against Shane Mosley on the same bill.

Groves, 14-0 (11), was due to defend his British 168lb title against Kenny Anderson at Wembley Arena last month only for a back injury to KO the rematch.  Thankfully, though, Groves has recovered in time to meet Stieglitz, 41-2 (23), who won the title by beating Karoly Balzsay in 2009.  It is the 30-year-old's sixth defence of the title and he will face a stiff test as his 24-year-old opponent has improved with each successive fight since turning over in 2008.
