There were no surprises on the scales in Cardiff today when the title fighters on tomorrow night’s Frank Warren-promoted bill at the city’s Ice Arena weighed-in ahead of their bouts.

All eyes have been on Guillermo Rigondeaux (16-0, 10 KOs) this week; the Cuban sensation hit the scales at 8st 9lbs for his WBA Super bantamweight defence against Liverpool’s “Jazza” Dickens (22-1, 7 early), who was also 8st 9lbs.

Manchester’s Terry Flanagan (30-0, 12 KOs) defends his WBO lightweight title against South Africa’s Mzonke Fana (38-9, 16 early) on the show.  “Turbo” came in at 9st 8lbs, the same weight as the visitor.

Wales’s Liam Williams and Wembley’s Gary Corcoran have both promised fireworks in their British and Commonwealth light-middleweight title showdown.  The Champion (14-0-1, 9 KOs) weighed 11st 13lbs to Corcoran’s (15-0, 6 early) 10st 11lbs.

Tooting’s Bradley Skeete (23-1, 10 early) puts his WBO European title on the line against France’s Alex Lepelly (19-6-1, 4 KOs).  Skeete hit 10st 6lbs while Lepelly was a pound lighter.

Birmingham’s Tommy Langford (16-0, 5 KOs) and Finland’s Timo Laine (15-6, 4 early) vie for Langford’s WBO Intercontinental belt; both men hit 11st 5lbs to ensure that we have a full house of title fights on the BoxNation-televised card.
