BoxingScene.com recently caught up with WBA lightweight champion Richard Abril (17-3-1, 8KOs) who faces Sharif Bogere (23-0, 15KOs) on Saturday at the Hardrock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Abril's last fight was his controversial loss to Brandon Rios which also took place in Sin City. He said that he isn't worried about the judging this time around because he won't leave any doubt who won the fight.

"I am not worried at all.  Last time maybe I didn't do enough to make it clear but this time I am going to make sure there isn't any doubt that I won," Abril explained.

Abril is still bothered by his loss to Rios and said that he wants a rematch to set the record straight. He insists that he is focused on Bogere but said that he is willing to move up in weight for another crack at Rios.

"I am concentrating on Bogere as well as I am concentrating on what I amgoing to do after.  I want to fight Brandon Rios again afterwards regardless of the weight.  I will fight him at whatever weight is necessary and there are other fighters I want to face as well," Abril stated.
