GUADALAJARA, Jalisco - Former champion Raul Garcia will pursue an immediate rematch with Moises Fuentes. The two boxers went to war on Saturday in a twelve round bout where neither fighter deserved to lose. People who present at the Auditorio Benito Juarez were thrilled with the back and forth action, with Garcia going down in the seventh and Fuentes getting dropped in the ninth.

Fuentes won a close split decision to snatch Garcia's WBO strawweight title. Judges Alejandro Polanco and Alfredo Lopez scored it 114-112 for Fuentes, and Victor Solomon had it 114-112 for Garcia.

Raul returned to his native La Paz, Baja California and said - "I feel like I won, but the judges dictated otherwise. I feel bad because I lost my title, but I'm sure that I will regain it."

Edrulfo Castillo, the legal adviser of Garcia, said - "There will be a rematch. It's true that it was a close fight, but I saw Raul win. Zanfer and everyone was happy because of this great battle. When a fight divides the opinion of the judges, there must be a rematch. Raul is prepared for another fight [with Fuentes]."
