Welterweight contender Ruslan Provodnikov stopped by BoxingScene Radio to talk about his thrilling fight against Timothy Bradley. Although he lost a close decision, Provodnikov hurt Bradley on several occasions throughout the fight. 

Bradley started off fighting very aggressively and kept up that pace throughout most of the fight. Provodnikov said that he expected Bradley to fight that way and was especially pleased that they were able to put on a great show for the fans.  

"I wasn't too surprised. I was hoping he would do that. We thought he would try to make a statement in this fight. I praise him for that because he made it a great fight and one of the fights of the year," Provodnikov stated.

The Siberia native knocked Bradley down in the 1st round but the referee ruled it a slip. Provodnikov feels that by making that ruling, Bradley suffered a lot  of unnecessary punishment that may impact the rest of his career.

"It was definitely a knock down and when he got up and flipped over himself the referee should look at that," stated  What he did May have destroyed this guys career with the punishment he took. Instead of being a warrior if the fight was over he could have saved him for his next fight.

"I didn't get tired at all. I needed to recover for maybe half a round after that. I knew my punches were hurting him so much I was really loading up on my shots and that might have been the reason why I didn't finish him. I would. See the title and was really anxious."

"In the middle rounds inside the ring I didn't trhink I was losing in the ring but watching it after I thought that maybe I lost some of them and Freddie told me I might be losing the fight so
