Caleb Truax' first shot at a world title ended in a knockout loss to Daniel Jacobs.

His efforts to rebound to the ring have resulted in another knockout, this time at the doctor's office. The middleweight contender from Minnesota has been forced to withdraw from his Bounce TV headliner versus Fernando Guerrero this Friday due to a mixup in getting his medical records submitted and cleared in time.

The bout was due to headline the second installment of Premier Boxing Champions' "PBC on Bounce: The Next Round" series live from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

Truax revealed the bad news through Wednesday evening through his social media account. The hard-nosed middleweight was coming off of a 12th round knockout loss to Daniel Jacobs in their Spike TV-televised middleweight title fight in April.

No official word on whether Guerrero will remain in the headliner or even any longer on the show with less than a day to find a suitable replacement opponent.

The rest of the telecast remains intact. Jamal James - an unbeaten prospect who also hails from Minneapolis - will face Juan Carlos Abreu in a 10-round super welterweight bout that will likely receive an upgrade to the main event.

Opening the show, unbeaten local blue chip prospect Erickson Lubin steps up in class as he faces veteran Orlando Lora.
