BAYAMÓN, PUERTO RICO – World Boxing Organization (WBO) super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Vázquez Jr. showed today his great condition less than three weeks before his third defense against former champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce next May 7th at the  MGM Grand in Las Vegas as part of the Manny Pacquiao versus Sugar Shane Mosley show, in a Top Rank presentation to be shown on  Showtime Pay Per View.

“We are training at 150% for this fight, we are focused and very grateful for this opportunity", Vazquez Jr said before start his training at the Miguel J. Fray Gym in Bayamon.

The son of the former three time World Champion Wilfredo Vazquez, with a record of 20-0-1, 17 KOs, knows that he is going to face a hard foe in Arce (56-6-2, 43 KOs), that's why Vazquez is training very hard. Today, the fighter, who have over 70 sparring rounds, showed his stamina with warming exercises, shadows, some rounds of gloves with trainer Alfonso Ramos and then hit the punching bag.
