The scene is set for Friday's huge boxing extravaganza at the Donbass Arena in Donetsk, Ukraine. WBA festivities with two major title fights, which will feature two of the city’s top prizefighters. The boxers are ready, and the stars are ready as well. A number of well-known boxing personalities have already hit Donetsk, including legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer, famous trainer Freddie Roach, WBA president Gilberto Mendoza Sr., and his son Gilberto Mendoza Jr. The show will be promoted by the Union Boxing Promotions (president Yuri Ruban).

All the boxers stepped on the scale at the pre-fight weigh-in.

Stas Kashtanov (28-0, 15 KOs) 167.3 versus Karoly Balzay (23-2, 17 KOs) 167.8 – vacant WBA super middleweight title

Vladimir Kravets (24-0, 15 KOs) 139.5 versus Ignacio Mendoza (30-6-2, 19 KOs) 139.5 – vacant WBA International light welterweight title

Oleg Yefimovich (19-2, 11 KOs) 126 versus Christian Palma (17-5-1, 5 KOs) 126 – WBA I/C featherweight title

Yago Kiladze (16-0, 11 KOs) 198.2 versus Daniel Alejandro Sanabria (13-1, 9 KOs) 189.5 – WBA I/C cruiserweight title

Artiom Karpets (13-0, 5 KOs) 154 versus Rizvan Magomedov (7-6-1, 2 KOs) 153.8 – Ukrainian light middleweight title
