BAYAMÓN, PUERTO RICO – World Boxing Organization (WBO) Featherweight Champion, Juan Manuel “Juanma” López, showed comfortable in the first pre weigh in today for his bout against former world champion Orlando Salido on April 16 at Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum, when he weighed 136.4 pounds, just 10 pounds over the featherweight limit.  Photos by Jose Perez/PRBBP

López (30-0, 27 KOs), also a former 122 pound champion, should not weigh more than 144.5 pounds (15% over the 126 division) in this first pre weigh in of the Puerto Rico Boxing Comision for his bout versus Salido (34-11-1, 22 KOs) in a presentation of Top Rank in association with PR Best Boxing Promotions to be televised by Showtime.

“I'm feeling very good, we are working so hard to face Salido. We are focused in this camp for Salido, a good fighter”, López said before starts to sign autographs to the fans in tha Canton Mall of Bayamon.

Meanwhile, former junior lightweight champion Román “Rocky” Martínez (24-1-1, 15 KOs) and unbeaten Luis “El Artesano” Cruz (17-0, 14 KOs) made good weights for their expected clash for the first place in the 130 pound ranking, where reign scotland Ricky Burns.

Martínez weighed in 141.9 pounds, and Cruz 144.7 libras of a 149.5 pound limit.
