Polish heavyweight prospects Artur Szpilka (12-0, 9 KOs) and Krzysztof Zimnoch (13-0-1, 10 KOs) nearly brawled after a face to face verbal confrontation. The incident took place at today's press conference to promote the scheduled fight between Andrew Golota and Przemyslaw Saleta, on February 23rd in Gdansk. The two unbeaten boxes will collide on the undercard, provided that Szpilka defeats veteran Mike Mollo (20-3-1, 12 KOs) in an ESPN televised fight on February 1 in Chicago.

According those observers at the presser, Zimnoch baited Szpilka with a few insults, which led to Szpilka butting him in face and then the two fighters took their positions to throw punches. No punches were landed as members of the promotion rushed in to break things up.
