GUAYNABO, PUERTO RICO - The long awaited rematch bout between junior flyweight world champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Giovani Segura, and the former champion of that division Ivan "Iron Boy" Calderon is official and comes alive on April 2 at the stadium in Campeche, Mexico in a presentation by PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) and Zanfer Promotions and will be transmitted on pay-per-view. "We completed everything for the rematch between these two great boxers, Ivan Calderon and Giovani Segura, who had a big fight last August and are now matched for the second time," said promoter Ivan Rivera, president of PRBBP. "The difference is that this time it will be in Mexico, but we expect another good fight as always when they match fighters from Mexico and Puerto Rico."

The stadium in Campeche has capacity for 5,000 and is located in southeastern Mexico. Calderón and Segura faced off for the first time since being in the ring last August 28, at the coliseum Mario "Quijote" Morales in Guaynabo. Segura won by TKO in the eighth round of a fight that was among the favorites for the award for "Fight of the Year" by boxing writers in the United States and received the award from the WBA.

"All I know is that everything will be different now because I'll be better prepared and injury free. We are already working and no matter who is in Mexico, I will show my boxing, and win back my title. I want to thank (Segura) because he gave me a rematch, "said Calderon. "I will show that a champion will fight anywhere and get a title."

"He (Calderon) gave me the chance to fight for the title and now I'm giving him the opportunity," said a humble Segura. "But the result will be another victory (over Calderon) because we are working for it. If the first (fight) was good, this will be better because I know he (Calderon) will come better prepared."
