Orlando "Siri" Salido is ready to defend his WBO featherweight crown this Saturday, against the world ranked Kenichi Yamaguchi of Japan in the main event of "Top Rank Live" that will take place in Ciudad Obregon and that will be televised by Fox Deportes in the United States.

"I am very happy that my first title defense will come in my hometown, but I am not taking anything for granted. I have a tough opponent on Saturday Night in Yamaguchi and I need to be at best to keep my title." said Salido.

Yamaguchi (17-1-2, 4 KO's) is ranked number 12 by the WBO at 126 pounds.

"This is a big opportunity for me and I travel a long way for this fight and I did not come this far to go home empty handed," said Yamaguchi.

Salido (35-11-2, 23 KO's) was made aware that Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez will be at ringside this Saturday night, hoping he get the rematch with the Mexican later in the year. In April Salido suprise the world by taking the title away from the two-time world champion.

"The fact the Lopez is here means nothing to me. All I am focus on is Yamaguchi and after I get pass him what comes next will be decided," said Salido.
