Newly crowned IBF Welterweight Champion and Miami, FL native, Randall “K.O. KING” Bailey, is putting the finishing touches on his training preparations ahead of his upcoming title defense against former World Champion Devon Alexander “The Great” of St. Louis, MO.  The match up will headline a SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING telecast next Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino / The Joint in Las Vegas, NV.

Bailey is supremely confident in his skills and the training he has put in for this all important clash with Alexander that could propel the winner into the driver’s seat for a future showdown with 147lb. cash cows Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao.  “I feel great and I am prepared.  All that is left is for me to execute on Sept 8th.  A lot of things have been said back and forth but there’s only one way to prove who the best is and that’s by showing your skill in the ring…period”, says the always calm and focused Bailey. Bailey had a surprise visitor at the Ft. Lauderdale, FL gym where he trains.  Former Street/MMA fighter, Kimbo Slice, stopped by to get some work in for his budding boxing career where he is currently 5-0 (4 KOs) in the heavyweight division.  Both he and Bailey are Miami natives and know each other well.  Kimbo gave high praises to the “KO King” on becoming champion again.  “It was one of the sweetest knockouts [of Mike Jones] I’ve ever seen.  Keep your eyes on Bailey and don’t sleep…this is only the beginning”, stated Kimbo.
